French Air Traffic Control will be outsourced to India

With the french government looking for ways to battle the many strikes that hit the country, they now decided to outsource Air Traffic Control to India.

Outsourcing Air Traffic Control is not something new: London City Airport was going to be the main player when in 2020 Air Traffic Control will be outsourced to a station 128 kilometres away. The french want to take it a step further and will now give complete control over their airspace to an Indian company.

A few of the main benefits of outsourcing the ATC are a more reliable service throughout the year, dramatic cost savings and a better understanding of english by the Indian population compared to the french.
