Air France blames KLM for 2019 losses

A predicted loss this year for the french carrier Air France is caused by KLM “stealing customers”. According to Pierre Le Blame, head of operations. “KLM is outperforming Air France on every aspect and it’s not fair”.

On 5 May 2004, Air France–KLM was created by the merger between Air France and Netherlands-based KLM. The relationship between the two has not been only fruitful and CEO Pieter Elbers has been under a lot of pressure to not outperform his french colleague. It is well known that the french “Don’t want to look bad”.
