Man caught with 101ml of shampoo at Gatwick

Security on Gatwick airport caught a man with 101ml of shampoo inside his backpack, more than the allowed 100ml. The man was on his way to Aberdeen to attend a wedding.

Security said the man drew attention because of his “unusual behaviour”. Security officer Tom Fort recalls: “I immediately suspected something was wrong when I saw it on the scanner. I brought it to forensics and there was indeed more than 100ml. I knew it”

The shampoo has been seized and will be disposed off in a safe matter.
